How to pay for your booking
Every service is invoiced by LAMERZA SHIPPING SERVICES Sp. z o.o. against a written quotation. This page explains the accepted methods, currencies, timing, VAT treatment and how to verify that payment instructions are genuine.
Bank transfer
SEPA transfer in EUR, domestic transfer in PLN, or SWIFT transfer for international payments. Our bank account details are printed on the proforma or commercial invoice issued for your booking. We do not publish account numbers on this website.
Please quote the invoice number as the payment reference and pay from an account held in the name of the contracting company.
Card payment
Where card payment is offered for a service, it is processed by an external PCI DSS compliant payment gateway on a secure page. LAMERZA never sees or stores full card numbers, and card details are never taken by email or telephone.
If you would like to settle an invoice by card, reply to the invoice email and we will confirm whether a secure payment link is available for that booking.
Currencies, invoicing and VAT
- Pricing is quotation-based — every scope is priced individually and confirmed in writing before booking.
- Quotations state the total charge, the currency (EUR, USD or PLN) and how long the price is valid.
- New customers pay in advance against a proforma invoice; approved account customers pay within the agreed 14 or 30 day term.
- Payment by SEPA or SWIFT bank transfer, or by card through a secure external payment gateway where offered.
- Polish VAT applies at the statutory rate; EU business customers with a valid VAT number are reverse charged; qualifying international transport is zero-rated.
How your price is calculated
- Cargo type, weight, volume and packing
- Origin, destination, ports and inland legs
- Incoterms and which party carries which cost
- Equipment type and whether special handling is needed
- Sailing schedule, transit time and urgency
- Customs clearance, duties and documentation
- Insurance cover, if requested
- Carrier surcharges: fuel, currency, congestion, peak season
Payment fraud warning
Our bank details never change by email. If you receive a message asking you to pay to a different account, do not pay it. Verify by calling our office first.
This website is served entirely over an encrypted HTTPS/TLS connection. Card payments are handled by an external certified payment provider on their own secure infrastructure.
